Lalani & Associates are owned by Mr. Sikander Lalani who is a chartered accountant and claims to be an authorized immigration consultant (ICCRC) with more than 27 years of experience. They also claim to have helped 5,048 families to immigrate, have issued 10,381 skilled visa and 3,835 investor visas. Established in 1992, Lalani & Associates has an Executive team of two, headed by the owner Mr. Lalani and Mr. Azhar Fareed Khan is the senior advisor who has a BSc and MBA and joined Lalani & Associates in 2002. Mr. Lalani is a Chartered accountant and a Licenced Immigration Consultant, he is a member of Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), a member of Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). The two executives are supported by a  team of seven who all have qualifications in finance and investments with Mr. Lalani being the only one who seems to have immigration accreditation. His RCIC number, R413871,  is stated on the “About Us” page and checks out on the ICCRC website.
 

In their ‘about us’ section on the website, Lalani & Associates claim to have successfully handled hundreds of cases in providing investment immigration, residency and citizenship for its clients to countries such as Canada, the US, UK and a variety of EU member states. Strangely, their years of experience differs to over 25 years instead of 27 years on the homepage. Lalani & Associates offers services in the following visa programs:

• Family Sponsorship; and 
• Holiday visa

The website for Lalani has sufficient information although it tends to be a bit too brief and lacking in in-depth content at times. More disappointing is the fact that the website does not have links to information such as FAQ’s, privacy and refund policies, let alone a terms and conditions policy. The website looks professional and is user-friendly as well as secure which is extremely important when users have to supply personal information. We are also happy that they have a blog section that looks to be regularly updated and contains some well written and informative articles. The website also contains links to their various social media platforms that work properly. They also offer a free assessment for the Investor and Skilled Worker program as well as the Express Entry System however none is available for the other immigration options offered, which is rather strange. Testimonials about Lalani & Associates are also highly impressive and very encouraging, with Usman Fayyaz from Pakistani who received a Canadian visa through the Skilled Worker Program describing it as a wonderful experience with L & A staff who were extremely helpful and guided him through every step of the process in a very professional manner.
 

Lalani & Associates have done a commendable job of managing their social media presence, which includes Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin, and Instagram. The Facebook page has over 41k likes and is updated regularly with relevant content. The review page is active, which we like, and has mostly positive reviews and good response time to most comments. The Twitter account, unfortunately, doesn’t have as many likes or followers but does have over 500 tweets and 205 followers, however, this could be due to the fact that they don’t post as regularly as they do on Facebook. The Youtube channel has 421 subscribers with a good amount of immigration content and a fantastic amount of user interaction or views. LinkedIn has an impressive 3,268 followers and is updated regularly with what seems to be the same content as on Facebook. It also states that they have 51 employees, which gives us confidence that they are a well-oiled machine with a sufficient amount of employees to handle the number of applications that they deal with. The Instagram account has 1,164 followers. Their feed is comprised of relevant immigration content however does not get as much interaction as they could get. We found 146 google reviews of which most are positive barring a few who speak mostly of unprofessionalism and rude staff, however, these are few and far between.
 

Overall Lalani & Associates seem to live up to their 27 years of experience in the immigration service. If the reviews are anything to go by, Lalani & Associates seem to be a legitimate organization, and we could comfortably recommend their services. The lack of terms and conditions, privacy and refund policies, however, is a big let-down, though their presence on social media is very encouraging.
